Abbey Bemis has recently accepted a new role as Chief Operating Officer with Payne Nickles Company. The Board of Directors would like to congratulate Abbey on her move to the private sector and thank her for ten years of service to Erie County Economic Development Corporation, a period of enormous success for our organization and for the region. Abbey’s departure will not be immediate; she will be assisting the Erie County Economic Development Corporation Board as we recruit and transition to new leadership over the next few months.
ECEDC has begun seeking applications for their next Executive Director. The Executive Director of the Erie County Economic Development Corporation is responsible for promoting, facilitating, and coordinating economic and workforce development in order to strengthen and expand regional business that retains, trains, and expands local employment.
